Hello 'Hellhog':)-I totally agree with you about the epicness of this trilogy. The Mass Effect Trilogy will never be matched by any other video game trilogy to date or in the future as far as I'm concerned:)-In regards to Mass Effect 1, the main things that are stopping me from playing it again (other than the lack of time to dedicate for a full and proper playthru of Mass Effect 1) are the incredibly long elevator rides in the Citadel and the Mako missions.-Have a nice day or afternoon or night:). Technically, it isn't an ending, but, it felt like it to me. Just because I can't finish extra playthroughs and already beat the game with this character while experiencing all 4 endings by turning off autosave at just the right time.
Plus it was a perfectplaythrough through of all 3 games. (I kept my save just before going to the Cerberus Base).
If you look at it my ME experiences, I've played through ME1 over 10 times, ME2 3 times, and ME3 once. I think it is a testament to the gameplay as I will always preferME1 gameplay since it is unique and very much loved the Mako and the vastness of the uninhabitable unexplored worlds. But as far as story goes, I have no motivation to complete my ultimate jerk kill all playthrough knowing that it changes nearly nothing togo full renegade. I would only get to see the stand ins for replacements and a bit more jerkish dialogue. Multiplayer allows me to experience all gameplay forms. I still will always miss the ME1 gameplay style, when techs felt like techs. I miss my Infiltratorhaving Overload, Damping, and Sabotage as tech mines and not reskinned Biotic abilities.
Hence why ME1 will always be a favorite gameplay wise. I think anyone though, such as one of my friends who felt completely let down by ME3, should play this DLC. I can'tbelieve how much fun and enjoyable it was to be with those Shepard can truly call his friends and be able to have a human moment with them (figure of speech but same concept for all species haha). Plus the arena is actually really enjoyable. Proud to say Ibeat every matchup including Mirror, Super Elites, and the Fatal Error on Insanity (Vega and Wrex = OP). Still, nothing will ever be as difficult on Insanity as a charging Krogan with Immunity enabled back in ME1 or the Collector Ship ambush on ME2.
